
This 3D cube is so special. 80,000 stars of the Milky Way was etched using a laser. The data is exact and provided from Japan’s National Astronomical Observatory after some debates between the Japanese government and manufacturer company because of the usage of observatory data. The galaxy is situated in the cube to the right because the Earth is the center in the cube. Interesting astronomy gadget for science fans.

If it’s really the milky way galaxy, where’s the bar? Our galaxy has a bar in the center.
It’s a nice looking spiral galaxy anyway.
